The organisers are keen to attract entries from businesses large and small and from all sectors. There are eight categories to enter; Best Managed Company (small, medium and large), Green Innovation, Low Carbon Business, Waste Minimisation, Best Individual, and Sustainable Communities; an overall winner is chosen from these. Past winners include, Jaspers abattoir, Leap - design for change, Ginsters, Sharps Brewery, Earth Energy, the Bedruthan Steps Hotel, and Stralfors printing.
Winners will be announced an awards ceremony taking place on 4th December at The Pavilion Centre, Royal Cornwall Showground. The event will be free and include a buffet lunch. The awards will be presented by Dick Strawbridge MBE, (TV presenter and former Lieutenant Colonel from BBC's "It's not easy being green", etc) and nationally renowned Guardian writer and Creative Director and Co-founder of Futerra Sustainability Communications Ed Gillespie will give the keynote speech.
